Don't know what they're doing. They got me waiting in all day for my cabinets in Crawley and when they weren't delivered I rang them and they told me they'd already delivered my chair to Brighton and then I had to chase and chase to find out when they were going to be delivered and then they didn't deliver on the day they were going to and then they just turned up without any notice so it was lucky we were in. I gave feedback to their customer services department and they just didn't respond. The quality is okay but definitely not worth the hassle of dealing with them. I ordered on 2nd November and finally took delivery on 1st December. Not a fit-for-purpose business.
Shambles of a company - Middlemen!
Don’t waste your time with this company, go directly to the company they are listing on behalf of, a quick Google search of the item will bring up the actual company who have the stock without Furniturworks mark up, these guys are just middlemen. They promise everything prior to taking payment, they haven’t got a clue. Still awaiting for items that were promised 28th Dec, they are now quoting 13th Jan ‘or around that date’. No updates nothing, they constantly need to be chased and when you do get hold of somebody that haven’t got a clue what’s going on, a shambles!
Online con artists
After placing an order order and then being told that they couldn’t fulfil their own ( stated on website ) lead time we cancelled the order ( next day ) . The website stated 3 to 5 days delivery time but when the confirmation mail came through it confirmed that this would be around 17 days .
This company then told us that the Order had been dispatched and to cancel then a charge of £101.40 would we levied against our account ….apparently to return the order to stock .
Basically this a con outfit …..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY .

Item showed a few day’s delivery at time of purchase, week later got an email to say will be delivered 10 days later, chased up again now been delayed further, I don’t think this company works in real time, very poor first time experience, will definitely not be making any further purchases from them. Reading the reviews this comes as no surprise and clearly is not a one off, wish I read the reviews before I made the purchase, I will let you make your own minds up.

What else can go wrong
Delivered to the wrong address despite me informing the customer rep that the address was wrong on the order. Then expected us to go and retrieve from the wrong address. Now we have the items 2 out of the 16 are faulty and you haven't yet offered to replace them - I have had to send photos to prove. I paid express for this service. Shocking

Not a company to deal with
Order delayed, one table damaged on delivery and had to wait more than two weeks for refund, almost 9 weeks from paying up front. Request to return the other two tables and exchange for bigger ones was met originally with a new invoice that stated no returns even though this did not appear on the original invoice or on the Web site, then a quote of £90 + vat to return even though they were collecting the damaged one. Would not use again.
Bad quality, product and service
Waited about 10 days for delivery I think. OK fine. But hten I did not need the desk until 2 month later. When I started setting it up 1) no instructions in the package (fine, I already had 2 similar desks, not difficult) but then 2) the chipboard fell apart as I was screwing in the legs. I spoke to them 10 days ago, super apologetic etc were meant to send me an email... Never happened. So I email with pictures today and they refuse to take responsibility for the quality, replace the part or even refund. Scandalous

Prepare for a long wait
Good selection of products at a reasonable price. But 4 weeks after expected delivery date I am still waiting for the goods to be delivered. I've been given various dispatch dates, and excuses such as 'the courier didn't have access to the property', if you are ordering from a company called 'Furniture at Work' and delivering to a company address it might be worth trying to deliver in office hours. I have been invoiced (not paid) and keep receiving emails asking me to review my purchase. Dont expect customer services to help you, it is always some one else fault. They say they call back, but never do.
Awful Service
4 weeks after our expected delivery time and we still haven't received our goods. The Customer service department just blame everyone else and say they will call back but never do. We have been given various dispatch dates and excuses for non delivery.
we have been invoiced and now asked to rate the product. I cant rate what I haven't received.
Horrendous company to deal with
Please do not take any notice of delivery times with this company. They will refuse to issue you a refund with the excuse that the furniture is made to order. The staff are inconsiderate, rude and not the least bit helpful.
Utterly disgusted with this company, I would advise everybody to think twice before placing an order!

Good quality product
Good quality product. Delivered quickly. Only negative was that the payment didn't work on the website but they were quick to get in touch and offer an alternative and I'm assured they are dealing with the problem for the future.

Placed an order in June - Still waiting
Placed an order in June and was told delivery would be within 6 weeks, it's now 6 Months later and I am still being told I will have to wait another 6 weeks for the rest of my order, customer service is shocking, I am constantly chasing for sporadic response - Shocking service, I will never use them again.

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible . Placed order in June. 16 November , main part of the order not delivered. A disgrace. If I could give zero I would. Terrible, an experience that was not expected. I can not use enough words but all I can say is stay clear. They do not take credit card. So u have to ring them to pay to pay. Then if it does not happen on time they send dept collector letters.

Terrible. We put an order in for three office chairs... the expected delivery date came and went- we were informed they had been delivered but this was incorrect. We chased and were told they would be redelivered- they were not and then two weeks on after chasing and calling with promises of updates, call and emails back- there was no contact from their side, so I cancelled the order and asked for a full refund. got the chairs from IKEA- and within three days the chairs arrived.
